Hi guys. Did you notice that smile in the first photo? If you know me personally you probably know I don't love my smile, never have. But in an effort to be more raw and real on my blog, I am trying to smile more. I never want to come off as unapproachable or angry, so here goes.
I really wanted to share this outfit because I love how it turned out (so simple!) but unfortunately I experienced some annoying technical difficulties with the camera and the photos came out blurry and pixelated (turns out it was a faulty memory card). I didn't want to completely scrap the shoot, so I enhanced the images as much as I could and decided to post them anyways. Besides, with my my new goal of being more real and unfiltered with you all, this was actually the perfect opportunity!
As for this outfit, I feel like my winter style can get really redundant and boring, often I opt for a warm sweater, jeans and booties. When the weather is especially dreary I still like to cozy up in sweaters and fuzzy coats, but I also like to add twists to my outfits to make them a little more chic, and a little less boring. Vermont has been hit with so much snow lately (and it's luckily finally starting to melt) but it was really cold and snowy for a while. On a chilly Saturday I opted for this classic winter grey look, with the addition of leather leggings. Paired with suede over-the-knee boots, I was beyond warm and felt very stylish. This is such a classic look that anyone can pull off!
Unfortunately almost everything I am wearing is from previous seasons (although I am working on a haul of a bunch of new products soon!), so I don't have links to direct products. I found close matches and share them below!
