Autumn in New England, in Vermont specifically, is arguably the best time of the year. Honestly, October through December is my favorite time of year. I spent my long weekend in my homestate and did all the New Englandy things you're supposed to do in October.
I went leaf peeping and admired the beautiful, colorful foliage. Red, yellow and orange colors fill the state during this time of year. I went to Cold Hollow Cider Mill and tasted fresh cider and delicious apple cider donuts. I went to Cabot Cheese and Lake Champlain Chocolates and enjoyed some of Vermont's best snacks. Lastly, I ended up at Michael's on the Hill, and enjoyed a fantastic, organic local dinner.
I hope you are taking in every bit of this fall, because it's a fleeting season. Have a happy long weekend! xx Sarah
